Mpower was born to be the movement to affect change; to promote mental health and well-being in the most holistic manner conceivable.
The need of the hour is to promote mental wellness, by providing mental healthcare solutions to all. At Mpower, we provide the following services through our clinical units
A Psychiatric consultation is a comprehensive medical evaluation with a psychiatrist (a medical professional) of any past history of mental health concerns and the biological and psychological sources of emotional distress and may involve medication, depending on the severity of the concern.
Child counseling is tailored to the unique needs and developmental stages of children, considering factors such as their cognitive abilities, emotional maturity, and communication skills. The primary focus of child counseling is to assist children in understanding and managing their emotions, building self-esteem, improving social skills, enhancing communication, and resolving conflicts.
Reltionship counselling facilitates understanding between the two partners regarding their communication, inculcating healthy ways to deal with conflict and work towards a mutually agreed goal for the relationship.
Occupational therapy aims to assess, identify and formulate a tailored therapeutic plan for the difficulties children may have during daily tasks in the areas of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive skills and social interaction and communication.
Speech therapy is the assessment and treatment of communication concerns that arise in childhood and/or any speech impairments caused by an injury such as a stroke or a traumatic brain injury.
Family therapy is based on the idea that problems within the family can contribute to individual distress, and conversely, individual problems can impact the entire family unit. The goal is to create a supportive and safe environment in which family members can openly discuss their thoughts and feelings, address underlying issues, and work together to find solutions.
Remedial therapy is designed to assist students to achieve expected competencies in core academic skills and bridges gaps in the areas of reading, writing, and math as well as building skills and strategies to improve comprehension, sustain attention, time management and organisational skills.
Addiction is a complex and chronic condition that affects both the brain and behavior. Deaddiction therapy recognizes that addiction is not solely a matter of willpower; it involves changes in brain chemistry, reward pathways, and psychological factors. Deaddiction therapy aims to address both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction to promote recovery.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used and evidence-based psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. It is a short-term, goal-oriented therapy that helps individuals learn to manage their problems by addressing the way they think and the way they respond to situations. CBT is effective for a wide range of psychological and emotional issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

No, psychiatrists provide a range of treatments including therapy, counseling, and medication management. They may recommend psychotherapy (talk therapy) in addition to or instead of medications, depending on the condition and your preferences.
Psychiatrists are medical doctors who can prescribe medications and provide medical treatments. Psychologists, on the other hand, have a doctoral degree in psychology and provide therapy and counseling. While psychologists cannot prescribe medication, they are skilled in various therapeutic techniques.
